Your support of our programs providing meals to women, children and homeless shelters begins with registering to bid. Event sponsor KH Consulting will donate $10 for every registered bidder (up to 350 bidders). There is no cost to register, and you'll have access to review and bid on all of the beautiful packages curated for this one-of-a-kind auction on the 24th. Brief auction package description messages have been sent to those who have joined our email list. If you would to be included, please email Bonni K. Cockburn, Director of Philanthropy at philanthropy@wcfrspokane.org.

This year, we've cancelled the curbside brunch portion of the fundraiser. It was a difficult decision, but an important one. Our busy team needs to focus on families who need meal and grocery assistance. We hope to return to the Davenport Grand in 2023 for our traditional Spring Tea and silent auction.

Every winning bid, cash donation, and raffle purchase will directly support our meal assistance programs that provide over one million meals per year to women, children, teens, seniors and shelter residents.

About Us

Women & Children's Free Restaurant & Community Kitchen is a vital safety net that fills nutritional gaps for women and children in need while fostering dignity and respect, both within our restaurant and in the community

Since the onset of the pandemic WCFR has provided over 2 million meals to Spokane County's most vulnerable citizens. In March 2020, we pivoted our dine-in services to curbside meal and grocery distribution, serving hundreds of Spokane families every week. We also deliver meals to 21 local nonprofit programs in our community. Our partner agencies provide services such as homeless shelters, domestic violence assistance, and child care. These unique collaborations connect our most vulnerable citizens with basic needs and healthy options for improved quality of life.

Safety, dignity, self-sufficiency and mutual respect are key components of our services. We’re committed to helping create a strong and vibrant community and future. Food insecurity is defined as having unreliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. In Spokane County, this problem affects at least 73,000 people – fully 15% of our residents and about 1 in 5 children. During this time of COVID-19, the problem has grown exponentially.

WCFR's services are vital to the Spokane community and we need your support, now more than ever.
